With the SAM hammer, it is possible to reproducibly and automatically measure the dynamic properties of components such as brake pads, gear motors, shafts of small gear motors. This is primarily helpful for the development of low-noise products and further for the development of specifications that guarantee a robust, low-noise product, also in series production. The hammer thus creates the conditions for the commercial implementation of the measurement method “automatic modal analysis”
