Simon Torell is the CEO of SMENA Catalysis AB. Simon studied at the Chalmers School of Entrepreneurship where he was introduced to the deep tech venture development process and worked on multiple projects evaluating the promise of research conducted at Chalmers. After this stint at the school of entrepreneurship, it fell naturally to continue the work within deep tech venture creation and he ended up at SMENA where he now works with applying the 2D-material Molybdenyx to various applications.
