Erik Behm

Eric has a master’s degree from Chalmers with a focus on Industrial Engineering & Management and 10 years of experience in attracting foreign companies and providing support to western Sweden’s ICT clusters. He has a great passion for the ICT industry and is a specialist in EdTech, AI, Space & Antenna technology.

Ivica S. Maric

Manager – Simulations, Scenarios and V&V Volvo
Ivica S. Maric has a background in Physics Engineering from KTH in Stockholm and Chalmers in Gothenburg. He has more than 20 years of experience in industrial industry and 14 years of work experience in Volvo Group corporation. His experience ranges from the aerospace industry and development of measurement methods for jet and rocket engines to the automotive industry as a quality manager, with a focus on verification and validation. Today he leads the department for simulators, scenarios, and V&V at Volvo GTT, where we work on developing self-driving trucks.

Bo Johansson

Bo Johansson has a formal education in civ-ing and parts of the civ-oak education from the university of Gothenburg. From 1977 – 1998 he had worked in Volvo Cars with various tasks in production, product development, purchasing and aftermarket. In 1998, he started working in Volvo Buses among various tasks in product development, quality, and joint ventures. And now he is a “Director Special Projects & Senior Advisor”.

Stefan Christiernin

Stefan works at Volvo Cars and has broad past in entrepreneurship and academics. He is PhD in physics, an associate professor and professor of simulation/ computer technology. He worked as a Rector at University West and has been involved in starting his own small companies. He is also interested in writing Detective stories. Before Volvo Cars he worked with NEVS in technology-based business development in the span between tomorrow’s technology, partnership and the new and changed business opportunities this entails.

Malin Kjällström

Malin works with connect west as a business developer. She is responsible for the growth capital, Springboard program and is the project manager for Connect 2 Capital. Prior to Connect West, Malin worked as an investment analyst at Almi Invest. She is also one of the owners and organizers of Gothenburg Tech Week, which is an event filled with workshops, networks, business opportunities and much more. The event takes place every year in the city of Gothenburg.

Per has a master’s degree in electronics and has worked throughout his professional career in consulting world. He started in 2004 as a consultant in hardware design, project management and since 2011 worked with technology-related sales. He also worked as a head of a few employees and now he works with sales. Per works with one of Sweden’s largest service providers within Embedded with significant in-house project organization, and ÅF is one of Sweden’s largest technical consulting companies. He is responsible for processing organization’s customer and offering to customers, which mainly work with development of products largely based on electronics and software.

Robert has more than 40 years of experience in advanced electronics manufacturing in Gothenburg. Today, Robert is Senior Advisor in Frontside and board member of Young Business in Gothenburg, New Entrepreneur Center in Härryda, Partner Gothenburg, and many more. FRONTSIDE Electronics AB is a high-tech electronics manufacturing company with about 40 people located in Mölnlycke Business Park. They manufacture both prototypes and complete products in large series for customers ranging from Chalmers seed companies to large groups such as Volvo, Zenuity, SKF, Ericsson, Assa and others.

Boel works in RISE IVF in Mölndal and leads F&U project in sheet metal forming, tool development and automation. She also works internationally: Coordinates the Technical Committee of the EUREKA SMART Advanced Manufacturing cluster and RISE activities in the new EIT Manufacturing program.

Johan Hellsing

Technical Specialist Electric Propulsion Systems CEVT
Johan has a technical license degree from Chalmers with a focus on electric machines for electric vehicles. He has 20 years of experience in the industry and usually worked as a technical specialist or as a project manager for research projects at Volvo Cars, AB Volvo and now CEVT. From the beginning he was more focused on the electric motor, but gradually broadened to include everything that has to do with powertrains in hybrid vehicles and electric vehicles.

He has extensive experience from the chemical and process industry in various roles in management, marketing & sales, research & development and production.
